Jake Phillips

Jake was born years before Jesse, and helped raise him by dragging him frequently before Dad or Mom for questioning (and a good story!). He also loves food, but doesn't brag about it on the internet. Way before The Program's inception, Jake considered himself a "closet funny man," meaning that he's fairly no nonsense and straightforward most of the time, but thinks of the occasional wisecrack when appropriate. He's married to Mary Elizabeth and has a girl and two boys and lives right up the street from Jesse in Mississippi. He currently works as a podcast producer, voice actor, and audiobook narrator, and you can hear him read the light classics (without Jesse sucking all the funny out of the room) on his American literature podcast The Cultured Bumpkin, which can be listened to anywhere you get your podcasts.
